About The Founder
In 2022, during time off prompted by the global pandemic, a spontaneous invitation to sew something with my mother sparked a new path I never expected. What started as a simple afternoon project quickly turned into an idea: to create a work bag that didn’t sacrifice style, functionality, or cultural identity. I wanted something that could keep up with my day-to-day life—without looking like everyone else’s bag.
That first design reawakened my creativity and inspired me to keep sewing. I began exploring how to combine what I was making with my background in industrial engineering—bringing structure, efficiency, and precision into every stitch.
As someone who travels often to visit family across the globe, I started sourcing fabric during every trip—each one becoming a way to connect my roots and my craft. Today, friends and family continue that tradition, bringing me textiles from their own travels. These materials, rich in history and story, are at the heart of every bag I make.
